1. Parties
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Lex intelligence platform (“Service”) provided by WheresMyMEP ApS (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Lex is a SaaS EU policy intelligence platform that aggregates publicly available European Parliament data, regulatory filings, and transparency register information, and applies AI analysis to generate intelligence digests and alerts tailored to your company’s regulatory priorities.
3. Subscription and Payment
- Access to the Service requires a paid subscription, agreed separately in writing or via our checkout.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable.
- We may change pricing with 30 days’ written notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
- No refunds are provided for partial months, except where required by applicable law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output without our written consent
- Use the Service to create competing products or services
- Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as independently verified legal or regulatory advice
- Violate any applicable laws, including EU data protection law
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Intelligence digests, MEP summaries, and other AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on Service output. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or current.
6. Data and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of all company data and content you upload.
- We retain ownership of the Service, its codebase, data pipelines, and aggregated intelligence outputs.
- You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.
- Source data (EP OEIL, EU Transparency Register) is publicly available under the respective EU open data licences.
7. Availability and SLA
We target 99% monthly uptime (excluding scheduled maintenance). We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. In the event of an outage exceeding 24 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated credit for that period.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of the current billing period with written notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for material breach of these Terms, including non-payment or prohibited use.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret), unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
